Elena Franchuk graduated from Dnepropetrovsk State University, the faculty of economic. In 1995-1996 worked at the PrivatBank economic department. In 1997-2004 was working as a deputy director of the marketing director of Kyivstar Telecommunication Company – the first private mobile connection provider in Ukraine. Elena is the wife of Victor Pinchuk, founder of Interpipe Corporation, one of the largest industrial group in Ukraine, and co-founder of the ANTIAIDS Foundation.
